Partnership Capital Dinner

Inflexion’s Partnership Capital team hosted a dinner for a senior group of North West based senior business leaders to debate the outlook for investment in the region following recent changes in the UK economic landscape.

Brexit and the sudden fall in the pound were high in the minds of our guests including Chairman and CEO’s from both mid-sized and larger businesses. With many of these companies exposed to exchange rate fluctuations, the discussion focused on the potential negative impact on near term domestic demand while also throwing up opportunities for some UK firms to outpace less agile competitors in this increasingly uncertain macro environment. Further discussion highlighted that certain entrepreneurial management teams have the potential to perform better in uncertain times, and the importance of identifying these traits to support outstanding growth.
