Leisure Dinner

Inflexion hosted an evening where consumer sector chief executives and chairmen met for an informal and lively discussion on the opportunities and challenges faced by businesses in the sector scaling up at pace.

The debate was led by Bill Ronald, who shared his experience as the long-time chairman of premium mixers company Fever-Tree. This business has experienced rapid growth both before and after it floated in 2014. Fever-Tree was founded by Charles Rolls and Tim Warrillow in 2005 and has since expanded from its London base across a number of new geographies where Bill’s executive experience – spanning 23 years at Mars, has helped guide this ambitious set of founders.

The discussion which followed focused on the challenges which fast growing businesses often feel most. This is particularly the case when expansion includes dimensions such as multiple sites and multiple geographies and often when there is an accompanying sharp increase in employees.
