International payments dinner

March 2019

We recently hosted an evening where a number of senior executives and Chair’s from across the international payments sector met for an informal and lively discussion on industry trends.

Guests enjoyed a talk by guest speaker Ian Robinson, who is has a senior board role at AXA and was formerly global COO for HSBC’s insurance business. Ian helped draw some interesting analogies between the payments sector and the insurance sector, highlighting the changing pace of regulation, sector consolidation and the impact of technology / fintech.

A number of guests shared views on the future of the sector and how it will continue to consolidate and professionalise over the coming years, presenting opportunities for larger scale providers to gain market share.
