Commercial call: monetising new products and services

Inflexion recently hosted a call for our portfolio on monetising new products and services, with global strategy consulting firm Simon-Kucher sharing tips on best practice and Inflexion portfolio company Chambers and Partners sharing their own experiences.

Innovating and launching new products and services is core to the growth plan of many businesses. Despite everyone’s best intentions, the majority of focus tends to be on designing the product offering with little focus on the commercialisation of the new offerings – putting revenue goals and growth at risk. On the call, the group discussed how by putting customer needs, demand and willingness to pay into the process earlier you move from hoping a new product will be monetised to knowing you will.

The call was an opportunity to hear from peers, learn from experts and ask questions.
