Inflexion Benelux healthcare and life sciences dinner

The Inflexion healthcare team together with the new Benelux office hosted a healthcare and life sciences dinner in Amsterdam, specifically for non execs and managers in the Benelux region. During the dinner, Dr Jan Egberts, shared his thoughts on key trends in the healthcare and life sciences industry.

Jan has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical devices sector, including initiating the leveraged buyout of the BARRIER surgical business from Johnson & Johnson and the subsequent merger with Mölnlycke Health Care, and serving as CEO of publicly-traded OctoPlus prior to its acquisition by Dr Reddy’s. Jan is currently Chair of Viroclinics, Photocure and Nordic NanoVector and a Board member of CHDR (Centre for Human Drug Research), NRG / Pallas Nuclear Reactor, Cassini Medical, Lead Pharma, Mellon Medical and Sigma Screening.

During the dinner, the group discussed recent developments in the life sciences and healthcare industry together with likely future changes and what it is like to work with private equity compared to a public board. It was great to be able to connect with our network in the Benelux after a series of zoom and teams calls over the last 18 months.
