Inflexion General Counsel Andrew Stevens recently hosted a Legal Exchange for the legal leaders at our portfolio companies. Andrew was joined by David Saunders, Head of Client Development at Konexo and formerly Deputy General Counsel at Nationwide Building Society, who spoke about his experience in helping GCs and other senior leaders to efficiently resource their legal teams through managed services, interim resourcing and consultancy services with the aim of ensuring that their businesses have the right blend of technology, skills and experience. The group also heard from Richard Moulton, International Head of Corporate at Eversheds Sutherland, who has over 25 years’ experience advising on sales of businesses around the globe. Richard gave his perspective on the best way to prepare the legal affairs of a business in anticipation of an exit and described the strategies he recommends to ensure that the legal function within a business drives a smooth exit process.
