What opportunities are emerging in the life sciences industry

We recently hosted a virtual event for leaders in the Life Sciences sector, focused on 'what opportunities are emerging in the industry'. Ben Long, Inflexion Partner, Chaired the event alongside Steve Kent, Non-Executive Chair at Inflexion-backed Pharmaspectra. Over the course of the evening, the group enjoyed some wine and cheese whilst discussing a number of long and short term themes currently impacting the sector. Discussions ranged from how the move to virtual impacted the healthcare service industry to the knock-on impact for biopharma given the potential focus on successful vaccination programme rollouts and the challenges in scaling machine learning in clinical and commercial manufacturing to drive efficiency for the long term.
