Legal Exchange

We were delighted to welcome 40 legal leaders from across our portfolio companies to Inflexion’s ‘Legal Exchange’ event at our London office yesterday.

Hosted by Inflexion’s General Counsel, Andrew Stevens, the group heard from some fantastic expert speakers on a variety of topics, including: preparing for a successful ‘PE exit’; how legal teams can ensure effective access to the appropriate range of external legal services; the evolution of ‘legal tech’; and the strategy in building and sustaining an effective legal function as a business grows.

Expert speakers included Laura Alexander from Chambers and Partners and Filippo de Falco from Slaughter and May, who were followed by Paul Rimmer, Hilary Ross & Stewart Room from DWF.

Marc-Henri Chamay from aosphere and Shawn Curran from Jylo (and formerly Travers Smith), both leaders in the legal tech space, delivered an excellent session together. With Jonathan Wiseman, General Counsel at Ocado Retail, and Nikki Newton and Georgia Morgan-Wynne from Taylor Root ending the day with a fascinating and thoughtful Q&A session.

All sessions were thoroughly engaging and thought-provoking, with the group enjoying some time to network and share common challenges and experiences.
