Rhead Group wins Outstanding Achievement Award

Rhead Group, the technical engineering consultancy, has won an Outstanding Achievement Award at the New Civil Engineer (NCE) and Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) Awards.

This prestigious award recognises individuals, groups or teams that are the ambassadors for the profession and exemplify the contribution the infrastructure industry makes to our society, environment and quality of life. As winners, Rhead Group has been recognised for its contribution to the standing and reputation of consultancy and engineering at home and overseas. Rhead Group’s entry detailed a project to reduce emissions on three National Grid sites, by replacing principle gas driven turbines (used for compression), with electrically driven substitutes.

Philip Evans, Director for Rhead Group, picked up the award at the ceremony at Claridges and commented “This is a fantastic achievement for the team and represents the huge amount of hard work put in to help our client optimise their projects.
