Inflexion and SMD wins Deal of the Decade Award in the North East

Inflexion is pleased to announce that our exit of SMD has been awarded Deal of the Decade in the North East Dealmakers Awards 2016. Founded in 1971, SMD is one of the world’s leading designer and manufacturers of a wide range of subsea vehicle systems. In April 2015, Inflexion sold SMD to Zhuzhou CSR Times Electric Company Limited, a Chinese transport corporation listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

The prestigious North East Dealmakers Awards recognises the best deals of the last decade, highlighting the achievements of thriving businesses and the investment community in the region.
