Inflexion’s investment team expands

Inflexion Private Equity announces the appointments of Simon Tilley as Partner in our Partnership Capital team and Ben Long as Investment Director in our Enterprise Fund team.

Simon Tilley brings a wealth of experience to our unique minority investment fund, Inflexion Partnership Capital. Offering investment between £10m to £150m in high growth companies, Partnership Capital provides patient equity capital through tailored solutions. Most recently, Simon was Managing Director and Head of European Financial Sponsors at DC Advisory. His seniority and track record in advising successful private equity backed transactions such as Oasis Healthcare, Zenith, Southern Dental and Park Holidays brings further talent, connections and expertise to Inflexion.

Inflexion’s Enterprise Fund has invested in three businesses this year. Working with companies in the lower mid-market, it offers equity from £10m to £20m. Previously, Ben Long was at Duke Street where he was involved with numerous transactions including Baywater Healthcare and Medi-Globe. He also held investment roles at Echelon Capital Partners and Barclay’s Capital.

We also welcome James Wigglesworth as Assistant Director in our Manchester office; he joins Inflexion from Rothschild’s M&A advisory team where he spent four years, prior to this James was at Deloitte. Saloshnee Nightingale joins Inflexion from Gleacher Shacklock as an Investment Executive.

This year Inflexion has made over ten appointments. And, just last month we acquired Virgin Experience Days, Xtrac and supported multiple add-ons acquisitions for CloserStill Media.
