We are delighted that two of our portfolio companies, Huws Gray and Medivet, were both featured in the 2020 Sunday Times Top Track 250, which recognises the leading mid-market private companies in the UK.

Since Inflexion’s investment, UK veterinary business Medivet has seen significant acquisitive growth, acquiring 38 practices in 2019 alone and 170 since our investment. It now runs more than 300 practices and 21 24-hours emergency centres .To ensure pets could still get veterinary treatment during the coronavirus pandemic, Medivet set up phone and video consultations, as well as the contactless collection and delivery of medication.

Huws Gray, the builders’ merchant which trades from over 100 locations, has also seen acquisitive growth during its partnership with Inflexion including the transformational acquisition of Ridgeons, significantly increasing Huws Gray’s national presence and making it the largest independent builders merchants in the UK.
