Inflexion Foundation donates £2.5m to support coronavirus crisis relief

Inflexion Private Equity Partners LLP (“Inflexion”) today announces that The Inflexion Foundation is making urgent donations totalling £2.5 million to help alleviate the impact of the coronavirus outbreak.  The current pandemic is both universal and severe and Inflexion recognises the immediate need to support the most vulnerable at this difficult time.

The Foundation has donated £2 million to the National Emergencies Trust to support their Coronavirus Appeal which is raising funds for local charities and grassroots organisations that can provide vital support to people in the quickest way possible.  The National Emergencies Trust was founded last year to raise and distribute funds for national emergencies. It collaborates with charities and other bodies to raise and distribute money and support victims at the time of a domestic disaster.

The Foundation has also donated £250,000 to Turn2Us, a national charity helping people when times get tough, providing financial support to help people get back on track. As part of their Coronavirus Appeal, Turn2Us is working hard to provide people who are in critical need with crisis grants to help them make ends meet during this extremely challenging period.

In addition, The Inflexion Foundation will donate £125,000 to both the Roundhouse and The British Exploring Society, two charities with which Inflexion has longstanding relationships, to help support then through this period.  The Roundhouse offers transformational creative arts projects to 6,000 young people every year, over 50% of whom are from the most disadvantaged areas of the UK.  The British Exploring Society is a youth development charity helping to transform lives through challenging experiences in wilderness environments.

The Inflexion Foundation was launched in 2018 and in an industry first will receive distributions equal to 1% of future Inflexion funds’ profits.
