The Inflexion Foundation has committed to a donation of £500,000 to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Ukraine Appeal, through the British Red Cross, to address the ongoing crisis in the country. In addition, the Inflexion team has launched its own fundraising appeal.  

The British Red Cross is part of the DEC, which unites 15 member charities who are experts in humanitarian aid and specialists in different areas of disaster response. The DEC launches appeals during times of monumental suffering, which is the case in Ukraine right now.

We are increasingly distressed and concerned by the growing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. The need for assistance is urgent and we want to do what we can to help, making an extraordinary donation from the Inflexion Foundation.

The Red Cross is responding to the unfolding crisis in Ukraine. People are losing their homes and lives; families are being separated, people are fleeing the country. Donations to the DEC appeal will help us to continue to reach displaced people in Ukraine, and those crossing into neighbouring countries, with food, water, medicine, and other essentials.
