Inflexion is delighted to announce that it has been awarded Exit of the Year for the exit of Halo Technology Group at the 2022 British Private Equity Awards.
Inflexion sold its investment in Halo Technology Group, the world’s largest independent provider of compatible optics, to NYSE listed Amphenol Corporation, one of the world’s largest providers of electrical, electronic and fiber optic connectors and interconnect systems, in December 2021. The transaction generated a 6x money multiple and 53% IRR for investors in Inflexion funds and followed a four-year partnership which supported transformational US and European acquisitive growth with profits increasing by just under ten times.
Inflexion recently announced that it had completed its 50th exit, collectively returning over £4.5bn to investors and delivering a realised return of 3.6x and a 39% IRR. In 2022 alone, Inflexion has announced ten exits including Alcumus, Marley, Phenna, Succession and Virgin Experience Days, with a total enterprise value of over £3.6bn.
We are delighted the exit of Halo has been recognised at the British Private Equity Awards. It was a great story of bringing together two complimentary businesses and with the right support, creating the global leader in a large and growing market. We are proud that we have returned over £4.5bn to our investors since inception and remain focused on continuing to deliver market leading returns for our investors.
