Inflexion is delighted to announce that it has been awarded Exit of the Year for the exit of The Goat Agency (“Goat”) at the 2023 British Private Equity Awards. Inflexion sold its investment in Goat, a specialist digital marketing agency, focused on the rapidly growing social media market, to WPP, the world’s largest marketing and communications company, in March 2023. 

Inflexion backed Goat’s co-founders with a significant minority investment in 2021 and supported the business to expand globally, with a core focus on the North American market. Inflexion’s Digital and Technology team also worked closely with management throughout the investment period to embed the use of technology and data into Goat’s proposition, and an experienced sector Chair was hired though Inflexion’s network. Goat saw significant growth during Inflexion’s two year investment, including 150% US revenue growth, 40% increase in headcount and over 3x EBITDA growth.
