Inflexion is pleased to announce that it has completed the take private of DWF Group plc (“DWF”), a leading global provider of integrated legal and business services. The investment was made from Buyout Fund VI.
The investment comes after Inflexion tracked the legal and alternative legal service provider sectors for a number of years and recognised the genuinely differentiated proposition that DWF offers through its integrated legal management approach, which provides integrated legal and business services to its clients globally.
DWF is a global law firm and alternative legal services provider, delivering integrated legal and related professional services to c. 5,000 firms, including large global blue-chip corporations. DWF has c. 4,000 employees in 30 offices across 18 countries.
DWF’s success since it was founded in 1977 has been driven by the quality of its people, the strength of its client relationships and its truly integrated business model. With Inflexion’s backing, the firm will continue its organic and acquisitive growth journey, including expanding its service capabilities, and a global M&A strategy with a focus on the US.
We have followed DWF's progress since IPO with interest and have been very impressed with the development of the business and expansion of its offering to date. We are excited to partner with DWF as we look to support the business in delivering on its vision to become the leading provider of integrated legal and business professional services, through continued strong organic growth and targeted acquisitions in the UK and international markets.
Flor Kassai, Partner and Head of the Buyout Fund, Inflexion
We look forward to developing our business further with Inflexion, whose experience in building other professional services businesses internationally will be invaluable. Inflexion has a clear ambition to support the management team to execute its strategy to create a global professional services business emanating from the legal sector and this will enhance the already exceptional and differentiated services that we deliver for our clients.
