Inflexion, a leading European mid-market private equity firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Martin Preuss as Partner and Head of DACH, covering Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Martin will lead Inflexion’s investments in the region and build a dedicated team in Frankfurt, further strengthening Inflexion’s international presence.

Martin brings close to 20 years of relevant experience and joins Inflexion from Intermediate Capital Group (ICG) where, based in Frankfurt, he focused mainly on the DACH region but was also involved in other European technology investments. Prior to this, Martin spent almost 11 years at KKR also covering the DACH region and the European technology sector. He started his career at Citi’s investment banking division in London.

Martin will help to further build Inflexion’s investments in the DACH region which currently include Proteros Biostructures, a leading Germany-based contract research organisation, and DSS+, a global Switzerland-headquartered operations consultancy focused on the environment, health and safety. Inflexion already has a strong DACH presence with 36 portfolio companies generating several hundred million in revenue across the region.

As with Inflexion’s Benelux and Nordic teams, the DACH team will work closely with the firm’s sector teams and global network to identify exciting new investment opportunities across the region.

Martin brings significant regional and technology connectivity which, combined with Inflexion’s deep sector expertise, will allow us to identify and scale high growth, ambitious businesses across the region.
