Inflexion is pleased to announce the appointment of Yuri Mikhalev as Partner focused on technology investments and Michael Baster as Partner focused on business services investments.

Yuri Mikhalev brings 16 years investment experience focused on the technology sector and will work alongside Sergio Ferrarini on new technology investments for Inflexion’s Buyout and Partnership Capital Funds.  Yuri joins Inflexion from Keensight Capital where he focused on technology investments across West Europe as a Partner and member of the Investment Committee.  Previously he was part of the team that launched Volpi Capital, a European mid-market tech specialist. 

Michael brings 14 years investment experience focused on the mid-market and will help oversee the Enterprise Fund’s business services investments, working closely with Inflexion Partner Andrew Mainwaring. Michael joins Inflexion from Crescent Capital Partners where he was a Partner and member of the Investment Committee.  Prior to this he was at Bain & Company where he was a management consultant focused on the APAC region across a broad range of sectors.

Inflexion has continued to invest in its team in 2024 with 30 new joiners across its offices in the UK, Benelux, DACH and Nordics, with a team of over 180. The sizeable team ensures Inflexion is well resourced to build on its successful investment pace, having announced five new investments, five realisations and 39 portfolio acquisitions in 2024 to date.
