Inflexion, a leading European mid-market private equity firm, is pleased to announce that it has partnered with the founders of Tierarzt Plus Partner (“TPP”), Germany’s largest group of veterinary practices, to further grow and expand the company. The investment is being made by Inflexion’s Buyout Fund VI.
Founded in 2018, TPP has close to 100 vet practices across Germany and c. 1,700 employees. The company partners with local veterinarians to offer leading animal healthcare services, mainly for small animals, and supports them with comprehensive training, best industry practices and significant technology investments.
The veterinary care market in Germany remains fragmented with considerable scope for further consolidation and growth. Inflexion plans to utilise its significant industry experience to partner with the founding management and shareholders of TPP to accelerate the growth of the business. In particular, Inflexion will support further investment in digitisation of the business, training and the expansion of its vet practice network across Germany both through acquisitions and the opening of new greenfield sites.
As the largest and most successful veterinary network in Germany, TPP offers an excellent platform for future growth and development. We look forward to combining our strong experience in the sector with the expertise of TPP’s founders and an outstanding management team to grow the business even further.
TPP marks Inflexion’s fourth investment in the Animal Health sector, backing a proven team who share our philosophy of sustainable growth in a vocational industry. We are excited to combine our regional and sector approach to support TPP’s significant growth potential.
We look forward to partnering with Inflexion to continue to invest in the growth of our business and development of our network. Our founding and senior management team will stay on board and we remain fully committed to our mission of creating the best experience for animals and people every day.
