For the fifth year running, an enthusiastic group of Inflexion colleagues undertook the annual Roundhouse fundraising challenge. This year the team took on the South Downs Challenge raising a total of £140,000.
Inflexion’s 23 team members successfully completed the 42km in under 10 hours, with the coastal walk beginning in Brighton and concluding in Eastbourne. Through the generosity of Inflexion's network and matched funds from the Inflexion Foundation, over £800,000 has been raised for the Roundhouse in just five years through this annual fundraising challenge.
The Roundhouse is a charity with an objective to provide ‘space to create’ for 11- to 30-year-olds, with a particular focus on those from disadvantaged backgrounds. It is currently working with 8,000 young people helping them find pathways back into education, work or simply to enjoy a wider cultural life.
The work carried out by the Roundhouse is crucial, empowering young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to excel through creative endeavours. I am immensely proud of the team for their enthusiasm in undertaking the challenge and supporting the fantastic work of the Roundhouse. As always, we are incredibly grateful to our network for their generosity.
This year, we launched a new challenge, trekking across the beautiful South Downs to support the Roundhouse's youth initiatives. The Inflexion team embraced this challenge with their usual energy, raising funds essential to our creative youth programmes' success. We deeply value our ongoing partnership with Inflexion and are appreciative of their continued support.
