Chris is a Partner and Head of Inflexion's Manchester Office where he is responsible for originating, evaluating and managing majority and minority investments, principally across the North of England. Chris led the investments in CMSPI and Detectortesters. He sits on the boards of CMSPI, Detectortesters and Granite.

Chris has fifteen years of experience in working with businesses across the North at board level, assisting in strategic development, acquisitions, international growth and managing successful exits to both trade and private equity. Before joining Inflexion in 2020, Chris was a Director at mid-market PE house LDC, where he spent six years investing in a number of businesses including Stroma, Synexus, Mini-Cam, Chargepoint and BWML. The last two of these years Chris spent in the Thames Valley as Head of LDC South.

Prior to his career in investing, Chris was a Director within the M&A team at Rothschild based in Manchester, where he spent nine years leading a number of corporate and private equity deals internationally. 

Outside work Chris enjoys spending time with his friends and family, where three young daughters keep him in check. To relax and keep fit he plays football, goes to the gym and, in the warmer weather, can occasionally be found on the golf course.

He is a Chartered Accountant having trained at KPMG and has a degree in Economics from Manchester University.
