Simon co-founded Inflexion with John Hartz in 1999. Together with John, he has built Inflexion into one of Europe’s leading private equity firms addressing the full spectrum of the mid-market.
Simon has over 30 years’ private equity experience of backing ambitious management teams and founders to accelerate the growth of their business. Prior to co-founding Inflexion, Simon and John co-founded Daiwa Europe’s Private Equity Group.
Simon is passionate about giving back and together with John established the Inflexion Foundation, with the purpose of enhancing the lives of disadvantaged young people and protecting the environment.
In his spare time, Simon is Chair of The Roundhouse. He has skied to both the North and South Pole as part of the Antarctic Enterprise, raising over one million pounds for charity. Simon also enjoys playing tennis and golf.
He holds an MA in Modern History from Oxford University.
