Toby Lane, Assistant Director

Toby is an Assistant Director responsible for evaluating and executing transactions, as well as supporting the origination of investment opportunities.
Toby joined Inflexion in 2021 from Caledonia Investments where he worked in the private equity team on new investments as well as with existing portfolio companies across a range of sectors. Prior to this, Toby worked in M&A at Lazard, focussing on transactions in the real estate, hospitality, and housebuilding sectors. Toby started his career at PwC, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant and gaining experience in both audit and transaction services.
Outside work Toby enjoys most sports, playing golf and tennis regularly, as well as watching AFC Bournemouth and cricket. He loves spending time outside, either near the sea or in the countryside.
He has a degree in Management from Bristol University.
